The IDEA program is a collaborative effort between emlyon business
school, which awards its master's degree, and École Centrale de Lyon,
which contributes technical expertise and introductions to
materials engineering. Centered around
innovation, design,
entrepreneurship, and arts, the program
immerses students in project-based learning from the start of the
academic year. The entire curriculum is built on the methodologies of
Design Thinking and learning by doing,
allowing students to blend personal reflection, digital fabrication
tools, and academic knowledge to address major
innovation challenges with a creative and structured
